The Upward Bound Program Director provides leadership to develop a shared vision resulting in ongoing program improvement and community development; content expertise in order to conceptualize, administer, and sustain an intentional program of outreach and engagement; financial management to ensure the effective and efficient use of the program resources; record management and performance reporting to ensure the effective and efficient assessment of program outcomes and impacts; personnel management to ensure the effective and efficient use of the program’s human resources; and risk management to ensure a safe and secure learning environment and the effective mitigation of multiple types of risk.
